Puri Jagannadhs - Heart Attack Movie Review

 Heart Attack is a romantic action entertainer with all masala elements to impress mass audience. Nitin's excellent performance is the main highlight. Puri Jagannadh's engrossing screenplay and few punch dialogues, Anoop Rubens' trendy soundtracks, and background score, Amol Rathod's brilliant camerawork, Adah Sharma's glamour, Brahmanandam's rib tickling comedy, beautiful costumes and locales are its other attractions. Puri Jagannadh has opted for a routine romance drama, but he has written an engaging screenplay for Heart Attack, which has fare amount of twists and turns to keep you glued on to the screen.

The director, who is master in making formulaic movies, managed to include commercial ingredients like romance, action, comedy, dialogues and family drama, which will definitely impress all classes of audience. Heart Attack opens with a beautifully-shot beach song and heads to introduce lead characters.


The first part of the movie has three songs, one fight and Brahmi's titanic comedy scene, which will keep you engaged. In the second half, there are a few interesting twists in the story, two songs, Ali's comedy and a fight scene to entertain you. The climax is good, but it is predictable. Varun (Nitin) is a happy go lucky boy, who comes to Spain to help Hayathi's (Adah Sharma) friend Priya to get married with an African. But he falls in the love with Hayathi at first sight. She does not like him at first. She slowly develops liking for him. After helping Priya to get married, he reveals that he does not love her. Heart-broken Hayathi returns India to help her father. Later, Varun realises that he truly loves.


What happens next will form the crux of the story. Nitin has given brilliant performance in Heart Attack and he impresses you in all kind of scenes like romance, action, dance and sentiment. With his trendy costumes, the actor has definitely set a new style statement for himself. Adah Sharma, who debuts in Tollywood with this film, has also done her best and she impresses you with glamour in song sequences. Brahmanandam and Ali tickles your funny bones in scenes. Kesha Khambhati, who has played another female lead, has also delivered her best. The movie has excellent production elements and Anoop Rubens' music, Amol Rathod's picturisation, exotic locales, Puri's dialogues and SR Shekhar's editing are the major attractions in the technical front. Overall, Heart Attack is much better than Puri Jagannadh's previous directorial ventures and it is paisa vasool entertainer.

After working with biggies like Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan and Allu Arjun, Puri Jagannadh has now chosen actor Nitin for his latest directorial venture Heart Attack, which has hit the marque today (January 31). It is a formulaic movie made in Puri's style. The lead actors' performances and rich production are the big assets of the movie.

 The audio rights of young tiger NTR Jr‘s upcoming film, ‘Baadshah‘, have been acquired by Aditya Music. The audio was released on March 10th. Thaman is the music director of this film.

The film has been directed by Sreenu Vytla and produced by Bandla Ganesh under Parameswara Arts banner.

The audios of films like Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and Naayak had also been released at Ramanaidu Studios at Nanakramguda by Aditya Music only and they went on to become super hits. Hope this film also repeats the same.

Now that he has attributed his own health problems to the two evils, which saw him fight for life last year when his lungs and kidneys almost packed up, it should come as a wake-up call to those addicted to smoking and drinking

Other heroes like Kamal Haasan, Surya and Vikram have refrained from smoking on screen after we made a public appeal to all stars. For someone like Rajinikanth, who is viewed as a demigod by fans, to publicly implore the youth not to smoke would have a telling effect.

Krishnam Vande Jagadguram-Movie Review- Everyone Likes

Movie Review : Krishnam Vande Jagadguram

Cast: Rana Daggubati, Nayanthara, Milind Gunaji, Kota Srinivasa Rao

Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum is a mix of a commendable acting and a good script. Like with his previous movies, Krish has once again proved his directorial credentials with this film.

The story revolves around Babu (played by Rana) whose grandfather (Kota Srinivas Rao) has a theatre group which he wants Babu to join. But Babu has other plans and wants to go to the US. Meanwhile, his grandfather passes away and Babu has to fulfill his last wish. The rest of the story is about how Babu's life changes when he goes to his grandfather's native village, where the theatre group was formed.

Rana Daggubati's performance is brilliant, especially when he plays the role of a mythological character in a play in the film. Nayanthara plays an important role and carries it off well.

Although he has a brief role, Kota Srinivasa Rao delivers a good performance.

Krish's fine narrative taut direction keeps the audience glued to the movie. Unlike his previous film, Krish experiments with commercial elements in the movie.






verdict :
Overall, a good watch that will appeal to all types of audience.

HAPPY Birthday - Aishwarya Rai- Honoured

Indian Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was to be honoured by France on Thursday, her birthday, with a prestigious civilian award for her contribution to the arts, the French embassy said.

Ambassador Francois Richier was due to confer the honour of Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters ( Chevalier dans l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres) on Rai Bachchan at a hotel in the entertainment hub Mumbai.

"This prestigious distinction comes in recognition of her invaluable contribution to the world of cinema and the development of Indo-French cooperation in cinema, art, and culture," a release from the embassy said.

Rai Bachchan, who turned 39 on Thursday, took the Miss World crown in 1994 and made her acting debut in the late 1990s, going on to become one of the most famous Bollywood faces abroad as well as in India.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is often referred to as the most esteemed and revered actor in Indian and international showbiz industry, turns 39 today. Whether it is modeling, acting or motherhood, the actor has invariably done justice to her varied roles.

 Ranbir Kapoor (Bollywood handsome hero) made it up to his waiting fans with an enthusiastic performance on song 'Phataphati' from his upcoming film 'Barfi' at a city mall in Gurgaon.

The 29-year-old actor along with co-stars Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D'Cruz performed on the song whose first few lines are in Bengali and the rest in Hindi.

"Since we kept you waiting for so long it's time that we should entertain you now. I apologise for the delay. I am getting to talk and sing so much after a year that I am ready to do anything for you people," Kapoor said.
This statement shows Ranbir Kapoor's enthusiasm ahead of the release of 'Barfi!' He is among those rare Bollywood actors who have shown a willingness for experimentation in their roles.

Last year's release 'Rockstar' proved his acting talent and demonstrated how slowly and steadily Ranbir is inching towards the superstardom. 'Rockstar' was not an easy role but he did it with such a perfection that the flawed acting by Nargis Fakhri was spared the criticism it deserved.

The film's music is soothing. Probably it's Pritam's best till date. The tunes are catchy and classy at the same time.

Priyanka Chopra is also playing a tough role this time. It's daring on her part too because the rat race in Bollywood doesn't allow the heroines to do anything other than the regular stuff.

A lot will depend on 'Barfi!' for Ileana D'Cruz, who is debuting in Hindi with this film. She is beautiful but her acting skills will be tested only on the film's release.

In One line - A Must See Movie  
Eega Movie Review: Telugu Movie Director Rajamouli's 'Naan Ee' is a film that requires suspension of disbelief but it goes about its task in such a brilliant manner that you have no choice but to surrender willingly — and gleefully — to its charms. It is a premise that is sure to make many a filmmaker smack his forehead and exclaim 'Why didn't I think of this?' As in his biggest hit 'Magadheera', revenge and reincarnation are the themes of the director's latest offering, but the difference here is that the hero is reborn as one of the lowliest of creatures — a housefly. And, what a difference it makes!

This 'Ee' isn't one that you casually dismiss with a swat of your hand but one that makes the antagonist sweat and finally fall prey to its plan. The casting of Sudeep as the businessman with a roving eye is clearly a masterstroke. The role requires someone who is charismatic but still conveys wickedness. An established Tamil actor might have made the character look formidable, but Sudeep, a popular hero in Kannada films, is relatively a new face to Tamil audiences. And so, he makes for a fearsome but vulnerable foe.

Rajamouli smartly does away with Nani's romantic track in a brisk and delightful manner to let Sudeep and 'Ee' take centrestage and the duo doesn't disappoint even for a moment. The director comes up with inventive ways (right from the incessant buzzing around Sudeep and disturbing his sleep to make him crash his car and burn his house down) on how a small insect can torment a human being. And he treats these scenes with the right amount of lightness of touch -- even as you laugh at the plight of the villain, you never lose track of the fly's objective of killing him. The director has you so engrossed in the film that you don't even notice the absence of Santhanam (who is often the welcome presence in most films nowadays). When he pops up in the second half (in a rather brief but funny scene), you actually let out a silent groan fearing that a comedy track might hinder the film's pace.

The film is a technical triumph, especially the visual effects by Makuta VFX. Barring the scene when it hatches from the egg and certain close-ups that clearly scream animation, the housefly is a success, right from the red compound eyes and body hair to the almost transparent wings. The background score by Maragadhamani (known as Keeravani in Telugu) perfectly complements the film. The songs, rather than being speed bumps in the screenplay, actually take it forward.

Rajamouli ends with a killer punchline that isn't uttered and your only reaction as it flashes on the screen is to stand and applaud. This is a bravura piece of commercial filmmaking that is an unqualified triumph in every aspect.

Tip-off: Do not miss the hilarious epilogue, which also features a trademark cameo from Crazy Mohan (who is also in charge of the dialogues).

GREAT ILAYRAJA SONG FOR LONDON OLYMPICS

Ilayaraja song will be part of the Olympics Games 2012 Opening Ceremony anthem that is being composed to represent the culture and heritage of many countries participating in the games, the organizers have put together a medley song that comprises of music from different countries. Ilaiyaraaja's "Naan Daan Ungappanda" song from "Ram Laxman" movie that was sung by SPB will be part of the medley.

The Olympics Games 2012 Ceremony will have the original version played, this being the creative brainchild of "Danny Boyle", director of Slum Dog Millionaire, to whom credit for the development of the inaugural show goes.

Danny Boyle is directing the £27million Olympics Games 2012 Opening Ceremony, and plans to transform the Olympic Stadium into the British countryside for the 62,000 spectators and millions watching on TV.

Gabbar Singh Creating Waves At US Box Office

The most awaited entertaining powerful film Gabbar Singh played by Pawan Kalyan and Shruthi hassan is creating waves at United States of America Box office.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh, a remake of Bollywood blockbuster Dabangg, has slowed down Hindi movies at the US Box Office. The Telugu film has made an earth-shattering Rs 4 crore plus in its opening weekend.

Trade reports say that Gabbar Singh has collected $ 7,65,373 (Rs 4.13 crore) on 43 screens. It is also said that the movie collections from some screens are yet to be reported and there are chances of the Telugu movie crossing the Rs 5 crore mark in the first weekend. The per screen average stands at $17,799.

Gabbar Singh has approximately earned Rs 16 crore in the domestic market in its first weekend. The Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Hassan starrer film was released on May 11 in more than 2,500 screens.
