Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (born May 20, 1983) more popularly known as Jr. NTR or just NTR, is an Indian film actor. He is the grandson of the Late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, who was a legendary actor and former chief minister or Andhra Pradesh. He is fondly called as Tarak by his family, friends and close associates.
NTR was born and brought up in Hyderabad; his parents are Harikrishna Nandamuri and Shalini. He went to Vidyaranya School in Hyderabad, and later to St Rakesh's Junior College. He has a sister and two brothers, Kalyan Ram and Janaki Ram. His uncle Balakrishna Nandamuri is also famous actor.
A reputed Kuchipudi artist, he started as Lord Rama, a role patented by “The Legend”, & took Telugu Cinema into avenues never ventured before with his record breaking Aadhi and Simhadri. His Rakhi drew admirable reviews from fan and critic alike, wonderstruck with the scintillating beauty of his performance. No wonder,he is considered "The Legend in the making". He is exceptional in dancing and delivering speedy long dialogues. Fans go crazy watching his dance.
Rao began his career as a child actor and dancer. He made his first film, Ninnu Choodalani, in 2001, but it failed to perform well at the box office. He went on to gain fame with Student No. 1 (also released in 2001), directed by S.S. Rajamouli, followed by Subbu and Aadi. In January 2003, Rao's film Naaga performed poorly, even though it was produced by one of India's finest producers, A.M. Ratnam. However, in July 2003 Simhadri became the highest grossing film of the year in Tollywood, and made Rao and director Rajamouli household names.
His first release of 2004, Andhrawala, did not do well at the box office,though the next film, Samba, did better, and was at the top of the box office for fifty days. In 2005 his two releases, Naa Alludu and Narasimhudu, both did either badly or averagely at the box office. In 2006, his film Ashok had a good opening, but did not appease his fans.{cn|February 2007}}
His most recent film is Rakhi, which has proved a success at the box office, and has gained Rao good reviews.The film was directed by Krishna Vamsi, and co-stars Ileana D'Cruz and Charmme Kaur.

Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (Telugu:à°¨ందమూà°°ి à°¤ాà°°à°• à°°ాà°®ా à°°ాà°µు)(28 May 1923 – 18 January 1996), more commonly known as N.T. Rama Rao, NTR, Pedala Pennidhi by his fans, or Anna garu, was an Indian film actor, director, producer and politician. He founded the Telugu Desam Party and served thrice as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. His repertoire of films included mythological, social and folk themes.
He was awarded the Padma Sree by the Government of India in the 1960s, recognizing his contribution to Telugu cinema. After his film career, NTR became a political activist and party leader. He was born in Nimmakuru, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Andhra-Christian College of Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. He later received an honorary doctorate from Andhra University.
Career as an actor
Though widely recognised for his mythological characters, NTR is considered one of the greatest actors in Telugu film, and in South Indian film generally. His portrayal of Lord Krishna in MaayaBazaar by B.Nagi Reddy, producer of Vijaya Productions was a turning point in his life. His portrayal of avatars of Vishnu, especially Rama and Krishna, mesmerised an entire generation who saw the face of NTR when the Lord Krishna/Rama was mentioned, this even transcending even into non-Telugu speaking states like Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
NTR had a major contribution to what can be considered “The Golden Age of Telugu Film Making” especially between the 1950 and 1965. Analysts believe that the Telugu film industry produced some of the best mythological movies from India, while the Tamil and Hindi movie industry produced better socially oriented films.
NTR was naturally talented and extremely disciplined with various aspects of acting like preparation, punctuality, and dialogue delivery. An important factor that made him a great actor was his ability to deliver dialogues which were extremely lengthy that were original verses from Ramayana and Mahabharatha, with a fervour and command (unlike most of his contemporaries, with certain exceptions like S. V. Ranga Rao). In addition, he generally used to play multiple roles in the same movie, which increased the number of dialogues and hence the preparation required.
NTR was very versatile. In Tamilnadu, Shivaji Ganesan was much more known for his acting skill and talent and MGR was much more known for his commercial movies. NTR struck a balance between both kinds of cinema. He used to perform roles in mythological movies like those only Shivaji could perform and even do commercial Janapadham (where the adventurous prince saves the damsel in distress) films which were MGR’s forte

Shriya Saran was on September 11, 1982 in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, India. Shriya Saran was born to Pushpendra Saran and Neeraja Saran. Saran completed her schooling in Delhi Public School, Haridwar. She completed her graduation in B.A. from Lady Shri Ram College.
