NTR-ADHURS-NAYANATARA HOT-Videosongs

After a dramatic developments and suspense over the release of ADHURS  the movie was out at last to entertain the Audience at my place . Huge expectations from fans as NTR Jr’s movie after a long 1 yr break and the plushy Audio release function (such as a short Video of NTR and VVV) and leaving not the websites quoting it is made for competing Magadheera have made the movie’s result anxious. But the movie is like cat on the wall. Anything can happen. But the comedy part – it’s uproarious and rackety. This will be the saving grace for Adhurs.

Coming to the Story – it’s the story of twins (Narsimha and Narasimha Chari) who will be separated just after their birth and grow up in different instances in different families. Narasimha Chari will be separated from his mother and grown up in a Brahmin family and Narasimha will be with his mother. Narasimha will target the mafia in the city and takes the illegal money and divides between him and Sayaji Shinde. He strives to become SI of police so he works for Sayaji Shinde (Crime Branch). While Chari works with Bramhanandam (Bhattacharya) and performs poojas. Both have girlfriends Chari – Chandrakala (Nayana) Narasimha – Sheela. And another villain Aashih Vidyarthi will be searching for Narsimha. Why? And will these brothers know that they are twins forms the rest of the story with massive explosions and action sequences with hilarious comedy.

Performances – NTR Jr was good at portraying himself as Brahmin and had done his best. And the Narasimha character was done by ease as he was always good at it. Heroines were just involved in the story due to the six songs concept in this Telugu film industry. Heroines were ok for their appearance in the songs and nothing much to tell about them. Dances were good and some involved long steps which were easily done by NTR. Bramhanandam was really really fantastic, awesome, and hilarious and whatever it takes to tell that he was excellent. Can say the conversations and scenes involved Bramhanandam may be the saving grace for the movie.Mahesh Majrekar has made his presence as a bad guy with a comedy touch in the movie and was good.Tahnikella Bhrani was good at his role.MS Narayana and Raghu babu had done justice to their roles. Dont miss the scene where Brhami comes with a group of Pandits to question NTR about marriage – i was lost laughing like hell to that scene.

Technical department – Photography CK Naidu was good and songs pictuarization was pretty awesome Music by DSP was mediocre and in fact bad can say. They were just songs with good beats but cannot be hummed always by people. Many beautiful locations were very well captured in the songs. Action sequences were the best in the movie. Some stunts have exceptions but overall they were good. Coming to the Direction – it could have been better, having such a awesome comedy track the movie should have gone well till the end but what happened was the reverse the movie lost its track. May be the director has concentrated more on comedy, Venkat’s story was a complicated one but should have been handled well by the director.

Puri Jagannadhs - Heart Attack Movie Review

 Heart Attack is a romantic action entertainer with all masala elements to impress mass audience. Nitin's excellent performance is the main highlight. Puri Jagannadh's engrossing screenplay and few punch dialogues, Anoop Rubens' trendy soundtracks, and background score, Amol Rathod's brilliant camerawork, Adah Sharma's glamour, Brahmanandam's rib tickling comedy, beautiful costumes and locales are its other attractions. Puri Jagannadh has opted for a routine romance drama, but he has written an engaging screenplay for Heart Attack, which has fare amount of twists and turns to keep you glued on to the screen.

The director, who is master in making formulaic movies, managed to include commercial ingredients like romance, action, comedy, dialogues and family drama, which will definitely impress all classes of audience. Heart Attack opens with a beautifully-shot beach song and heads to introduce lead characters.


The first part of the movie has three songs, one fight and Brahmi's titanic comedy scene, which will keep you engaged. In the second half, there are a few interesting twists in the story, two songs, Ali's comedy and a fight scene to entertain you. The climax is good, but it is predictable. Varun (Nitin) is a happy go lucky boy, who comes to Spain to help Hayathi's (Adah Sharma) friend Priya to get married with an African. But he falls in the love with Hayathi at first sight. She does not like him at first. She slowly develops liking for him. After helping Priya to get married, he reveals that he does not love her. Heart-broken Hayathi returns India to help her father. Later, Varun realises that he truly loves.


What happens next will form the crux of the story. Nitin has given brilliant performance in Heart Attack and he impresses you in all kind of scenes like romance, action, dance and sentiment. With his trendy costumes, the actor has definitely set a new style statement for himself. Adah Sharma, who debuts in Tollywood with this film, has also done her best and she impresses you with glamour in song sequences. Brahmanandam and Ali tickles your funny bones in scenes. Kesha Khambhati, who has played another female lead, has also delivered her best. The movie has excellent production elements and Anoop Rubens' music, Amol Rathod's picturisation, exotic locales, Puri's dialogues and SR Shekhar's editing are the major attractions in the technical front. Overall, Heart Attack is much better than Puri Jagannadh's previous directorial ventures and it is paisa vasool entertainer.

After working with biggies like Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan and Allu Arjun, Puri Jagannadh has now chosen actor Nitin for his latest directorial venture Heart Attack, which has hit the marque today (January 31). It is a formulaic movie made in Puri's style. The lead actors' performances and rich production are the big assets of the movie.

. Made by the famous producer Gunnam Gangaraju of Just Yellow banner, this weekly serial ran for 313 episodes non-stop and with lot of fun, comedy and entertainment. This serial always took the current topic in the society and made parady of it. Amrutam serial went on for 6 years with highest TRP rating even till today.

The last episode will be telecast on 18th November 2007 and incidentally Amrutham serial started on the same day six years back ie on 18th November 2001.Amrutham serial is being stopped or discontinued not because of reduced TRP ratings but because of lack of script and also lack of man power to script for the serial.

The artists of the serial, Gundu Hanumantha Rao who did the role of Anji, Inturi Vasu who was Sarvam – the server and Sivannarayana who acted as Appaji were also present for the press meet and expressed their happiness for working with Gangaraju. They also said that Gunnam taught them a lot and also they were sad because the serial was coming to an end. Urmila Gunnam was also present at the press meet.

Now am not going to rewind the history path travelled by Kamal, which many would be vaguely aware of and this piece doesn’t even venture into it.

I am very sure that no one in Indian cinema was, is or ever will be able to master many sub-fields within a field, as was achieved by Kamal Hassan. After his initial on-screen presence during his childhood days, Kamal was more inclined to be part of the behind- the-glitz and glamour team. 

Kamal Hassan as a Choreographer ( Dance Composer) : 

As a choreographer, he worked with many leading heroes in Tamil cinema like Sivaji and MGR in those days. He is one of the very few heroes who can dance both Bharathanatyam and the western dance with elan. Not many(may be none) can boast off such command over both sides of the spectrum. His dance repertoire in Salangai Oli was applauded by the masses and was watched in awe by many in the film fraternity.

Kamal Hassan as an Actor: 

This probably is the easiest part. The guy needs no introduction in this segment. A prolific actor, Kamal is the recipient of 3 national awards(for ‘Nayagan’, ‘Moondram Pirai and ‘Indian’). But the most striking feature about his acting, atleast to me, is his timing for comedy. Humour is not easy, when it has to be enacted. Kamal is the king of comedy genre. Many films like ‘Panchathantiram’, ‘Michael Madana Kamarajan’, ‘Thenali’, ‘Sathileelavathi’, ‘Pammal K Sambandam’, ‘Vasool Raja MBBS’ and not to forget ‘Singaravelan’ are a very few of his best works in Comedy genre. So, comedy is probably my favourite in his works, though his works in films like ‘Indian’, ‘Nayagan’, ‘Devar Magan’ and the evergreen ‘Anbe Sivam’ are etched in everyones memory.

Kamal Hassan as a Director/ Screen Play writer:  

Kamal wanted to be a director, very much like his guru K.Balachander. Maybe, the knowledge rubbed into him and here we have the director of aptly structure movies like ‘Virumaandi’. He has a great share behind the scenes in he movies like ‘Mahanadi’, ‘Devar Magan’ and ‘Dasavatharam’. Many criticise Kamal for his over involvement in many of his films, many a time turning into Director, Cinematographer, Music director. But, somebody with so much talent would be best advised to take a share of all these if the outcome is a much better play. His screen play in ‘Devar Magan’, ‘Mahanadi’ and ‘Dasavatharam’ was applauded by even the worst of his critics.

Kamal Hassan is a Polyglot: 

Kamal is someone who not only has strong control over his mother tongue Tamil and also English, he is someone who knows atleast 8 other languages. His control over many languages comes to the fore in his climax scene in ‘Panchathantiram’. Language skill is such an important criteria in films, especially if you are in India, with languages sprouting every Friday. I can strongly say no one the Film industry has the skill to converse with his fellow Indians in their mother tongue as does Kamal.

Tamil Poet:

 This is one of the most interesting face of Kamal. His use of tamil with all its intricacies makes people sit up and take note. Of late, he is building his own niche as a Tamil poet. ‘Venbaa’ is a grammatically difficult set of poems in tamil which needs deep knowledge of Tamil language to understand, let alone pen them. It has rules like every line should have four words only, last line should have three words, the first word in the penultimate line should be an independent word and totally only four lines.

(Hope am right in the grammer part). His sing-song poem in ‘Manmadan Ambu’ , is a big example to Kamal’s writing skills.

Singer: 

 Kamal may not be in the elite group of singers like SPB, Yesudas, Hariharan and Unni Krishanan, but he surely has laid out his own mark as a singer. The immediate songs that come to mind as ‘Yaar Yaar Sivam’ from ‘Anbe Sivam’, ‘Marugo’ from ‘Sathileelavathi’, ‘Inzhi Iduppu’ from ‘Devar Magan’ and the soothing song from ‘Manmadan Ambu’, ‘Neela Vanam’(such a fantastic song from the master himself). The distinct voice of his is exploited to the hilt, to get the best out of himself.

Aethiest: 

Though from a very orthrodox Tamil Iyengar Kamal has no such ideals. A staunch proponent against marriage institutions(not surprising, he has two divorced marriages before), Kamal is of the clad who calls themselves rationalist and doesn’t believe in the so callled enity ‘God’. Its a very private side of his life, which gets much publicised.

The many faces adapted by this man makes him a true legend, not just in Indian cinema,but also as a go-getter human being. I have always been fascinated and awed at not the different roles he takes up in reel life, but the range of different hue that he has taken up in real life.

Pegged at Rs. 25 cr., the film is expected to be humorous and good-spirited. Veteran Chandra Mohan is playing a focal character.

Comedy will be at its zenith, is what the hero stated recently. Let's see if the Venky-Trisha combination strikes the right chord for the second time, after Aduvari Matalaku Arthale Verule.

Actually this is the sequel of 'HOME ALONE' which is comedy thriller..
I watched this movie about a year ago and enjoyed the whole thing. It makes for a great comedy, and I think it worked wonderfully as a sequel: it brings back the main characters and the plot situation, but the stakes are raised and more of the thieves' antics and more of the kid's ploys add more fun to the film! I was laughing out loud as I watched the now-Sticky Bandits take multiple hits to the head and falls down long drops. But parents should be warned about these stunts, which are usually more painful than the first Home Alone's were; not all little kids should keep watching just yet. I had also watched this movie just after it was released, and even though I was just slightly younger than Culkin, I remember being horrified when Marv was hit on the head over and over by bricks thrown from three stories above him. Now, I think it’s hilarious, but parents with more serious kids should be careful with the extra violence in this movie.

Sanju (Allu Arjun) is a guitarist who operates a band in Barcelona. Komali (Amala Paul) goes to Barcelona to learn more about violin in an university. Akanksha (Catherina Tresa) is the daughter of a central minister. She comes to Barcelona for studies. Akanksha gets hold of a diary in which she reads the love story between Sanju and Komali. In the process, she gets interested in Sanju and falls in love with him as he seems to be single. The rest of the story is all about what happened to Komali.


Artists Performance

Allu Arjun: Allu Arjun has come up with fantastic looks and intense expressions for this movie. He has got nice mass mannerism which he has used it to full extent. The interval fight in which he gives an expression that he is going to kill everybody is really good. He comes up with mass as well as sophisticated steps. The steps in Top Lechipoddi are of top-notch. Mega fans will have a moment to cherish as Allu Arjun dances for Gang Leader title song. There are reference dialogues of Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan.

iddarammailathoOthers: Amapa Paul is adorable as a traditional Brahmin girl. Catherine Tresa looks very glamorous and dances pretty well. With a bit of fine-tuning she can become big in Telugu films. Brahmanandam has done the role of music teacher in a foreign university. He entertains in the first half. However, the separate comedy track of Brahmanandam and Ali reminds us of 90’s routine comedy tracks. Shawar Ali is okay as the main villain. Subbaraju has done the role of a villain brother and it’s a typical role for him. Tanikella Bhrani, Rao Ramesh, Nassar, Pragati, Priya, Tulasi etc did the roles of parents of main leads. Srinivas Reddy is wasted in a dialogue-less role.

Final Analysis
First half of the film is entertaining. The beginning of second half meanders due to lack of story (all time-pass scenes like Brahmanandam-Ali are inserted). Movie has an interesting twist towards the climax. Plus points are Allu Arjun, Iddarammayilu (Amala Paul & Catherin), Puri’s dialogues and technical aspects. On the flipside, emotions didn't work. A screenplay with direct hero/villain conflict established to audiences at the beginning would have made the movie more interesting. On a whole, Iddarammailatho is a slick flick with romance and action thrown in. We need to wait and see how audiences embrace the movie.

What's it about!

Chandu (Nagarjuna) loses his parents at very young age, his mother tells him not to get into relationships, if he does he would feel pain. Chandu grows up to be Casanova, not sticking to any relationship. He is businessman in USA. Nevertheless, he goofs with one agreement with a client that forces him to pay hefty amount in 30 days. His grandparents in India ask him to visit them. He learns that his grandparents have crores of money and he can visit them and take some money to clear off the debt. On his way to India, he meets Sandhya (Nayantara) who is member of Make A Wish foundation. He likes her. His grandparents with love and affection welcome Chandu. Sandhya comes to the village where Chandu is living with grandparents, and they mistake her to be Chandu's wife. To make his grandparents happy, he asks her to pretend as his wife and Sandhya agrees to it. What happens next is the rest of the story.

 Analysis

Director Dasaradh who is known to make 'feel-good' dramas has made Greekuveerudu in similar manner. It does offer some emotional scenes, some appreciable moments, catchy songs, but leaves us feeling that it could have been better if handled with more finesse. Because the movie moves on a relatively predictable style. It is as if you have seen one, you have seen them all. The screenplay is uneven and hardly any exciting element in the second half. Then what scores for its advantage? Well, it is the charm of lead actors Nagarjuna and Nayanatara that largely works. Also scenes between Nagarjuna and K Vishwanath are good too. Though it is predictable, it is not boring.

The film has many resemblances to Seetarammayya Gaari Manavaralu and other Telugu films and more importantly French romantic comedy I do (Prête-moi ta main, 2006)

Performances

Nagarjuna is quite good looking, the seasoned actor carries off the role well. His chemistry with Nayanatara is equally nice. Nayanatara looks beautiful in trendy costumes as well as in designer sarees. Vishwanath as grandfather brings dignity to the movie. His role is similar to that of Akkineni's in Seetarammaya Gaari Manavaralu. Sudha makes her presence felt. Brahmanandam and M S Narayana's comedy scenes are irritating. There are plenty of actors but none makes impact.

On technical front, surprisingly, Taman’s music scores. He has given some good numbers. His work stands out in the film. But other technical crew has failed. The CG work and cinematography are below the standard.

Dialogues are good in some portions. Director Dasaradh always writes good lines for emotional scenes. He has again succeeded in getting the emotional moments right. But he should have taken care in screenplay and portions in the second half.

Bottom-line

Greekuveerudu is very plain family drama. Couple of good emotional scenes, catchy numbers by Taman, lead actors' charm and the message of the movie work to its advantage.

Baby's Day Out is a comedy about the son of a very wealthy family who is abducted by bungling kidnappers and leads them on a merry chase around town and through the zoo. Baby Bink, as he is fondly called, has a nanny who constantly is reading him his favorite book, Baby's Day Out. When his mother decides it is time for Baby Bink's first portrait, she hires a photography studio to come to the mansion and do the job. However, the photographer's truck is stolen by three stupid thieves who pose as the photographer and his staff and kidnap Baby Bink for ransom. Fearless Baby Bink, once out of the protective mansion, escapes the foolish criminals and embarks on an adventure, visiting all the places from his favorite book and continually outsmarting the crooks. When his nanny sees the pattern left by the sightings of a "lone baby" and the wake of slapstick catastrophe that follows him, she realizes he is living his favorite adventure and leads the police and his parents right to him. Baby Bink then leads the police to the criminals, who are still in possession of his favorite book, or "boo", as he calls it.

Baby Bink first escapes his captors when one of them falls asleep reading him his book and the baby follows a pigeon out the window and over the rooftops to begin his adventure. There a sequence of scenes featuring the pigeon first sitting on a window ledge, then perched on a rooftop skylight, and then on the edge of a plank joining two rooftops. Other pigeons are seen in a shot of the billboard that will eventually be the landmark Baby Bink recognizes to capture the thieves. These scenes were shot in cuts and when put together with the shots of Baby Bink crawling after it, give the appearance that the baby is following the pigeon. All of these scenes were shot on a sound stage using trained pigeons which responded to a trainer's clicker commands.

After Baby Bink gets on the "Big Blue Bus" as in his book, he goes into a department store, then into a taxi cab, and finally gets to the zoo. There is a shot of a giraffe in his habitat as background establishing the zoo location. Baby Bink makes his way into the monkey house and actually into the arms of a protective gorilla who acts as a bodyguard for the baby, further foiling the inept kidnappers. In this series of scenes there were some chimps in cages that were actually zoo habitats. The gorilla, however, was an actor in a gorilla suit.

Story line : -
Nagarjuna as Surya the Don is slim and stylish. He plays his part well but sometimes appears to be bit unsure of himself. His character has also not been properly etched. He also seems to have slowed down a bit what with age catching up.

Raghava Lawrence tries to dominate throughout the film. He also essays comedy and manages to evoke some laughter with the situational comedy.

The villain is a revelation. The director has done the right thing by not casting any of the regular villains. Kelly Dorjee has done a neat job.

Aushka plays her usual glamour doll role. Her role is quite limited but she nevertheless sizzles and once again gives a visual treat to the audience with her beautiful and well-maintained structure. The rest of the cast is adequate in their roles.

Music is okay and a couple of songs are good. In the song “Don Anna
