Shriya Saran was on September 11, 1982 in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, India. Shriya Saran was born to Pushpendra Saran and Neeraja Saran. Saran completed her schooling in Delhi Public School, Haridwar. She completed her graduation in B.A. from Lady Shri Ram College.


Shriya Saran's first appeared on screen in the music video of Tirakthi Kyon Hawa. Due this vedio she got fame. Then she signed with Ramoji films as a lead role in the movie Ishtam in 2001. Before relaesing ishtam she signed for four films including Santosham, Nuvve Nuvve , Chennakeshava Reddy, and Tagore with actors Nagarjuna, Tarun, Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi respectively.
